Flights of Fancy - Cream and Taupe Baroque Pearls and Handmade Sterling Silver Buttefly

In the bazaars of old Istanbul you used to be able to find some amazing, handmade silver items, like this intricate butterfly.  Sadly, most of the old masters are no longer doing this work and pieces like this are nearly impossible to find.  

So I wanted to showcase this lovely handcrafted silver and bring attention to it without creating an overwhelming piece - something you could wear whenever you felt the need to take flight (literally or figuratively). 

Multiple strands of shimmery pale taupe baby baroque pearls on one side and a strand of bigger baroque pearls in creamy white on the other.  A sterling silver lobster clasp finished the piece so you don’t have to open and close the butterfly clasp - but you can if you want to!
