Moon Over Matinicus - Blue Aquamarine and Artisan Handmade Sterling Silver Tree+Moon - Adjustable Leather Necklace

Lots of you have heard me talk about how much I love the way the light changes here with the seasons, especially as it moves across the bay.  One of my favorite places here off the coast is an island called Matinicus.  A sparsely populated island, it is the farthest inhabited land off the east coast in the US.  Rugged, unspoiled, and with some of the best Star gazing around.  This necklace is my interpretation of the amazing sight I was privileged to witness when a full moon seemed to dance across the water. 

Five strands of pretty, sparkly blue Santa Maria Aquamarine cascade from handmade sterling silver etched with a crescent moon and tree.  A single Biwa Pearl encased in Sterling silver hangs from the bottom strand of blues.  All connecting to soft, dark brown leather, where a sterling silver bead slides to allow you to adjust the length from approximately 16” - 30” giving you lots of styling options.
