Neptune - Beautiful White Biwa and Tahitian Pearls - Leather Adjustable Necklace

Il dolce far niente.   The sweetness of doing nothing.  Somehow this necklace makes me feel like everything can wait a minute…the to-do list, the work, the chores, the social obligations, all of it.  They can wait.  And I can put my feet up with a mug or glass (whatever beverage you reach for during your down time), and just stare out into the world and contemplate nothing.  No pressure for deep thoughts, no self-imposed need to *do* anything at all.  What an absolute gift!  

When I saw these pearls I was smitten instantly.  You know my love of modern pearls, and these were destined to become my favorites in a hurry.  Really large, organic shapes, incredible lustre.  Sigh.  Beautiful.  So all I added were a pair of genuine Tahitian Pearls (beautiful in their own right) and some pure silver accents.  Soft, dark brown thick leather and a sterling silver bead that slides in back lets you adjust the length depending on your outfit and your mood.  A few little thoughtful elements complete the design.
