Long stretches of road ahead, nowhere to be, favorite playlist to sing along to…these are the road trips of summer.  (And by the way, these trips don’t have to be all that long - growing up here in Maine I could get “lost” 10 miles from home - just take any road you’ve never been down before!)  

While turquoise is often thought of as a uniquely southwestern symbol, it’s actually been used by many different cultures across several continents throughout history.  Made into jewelry, traded as currency, and woven into housewares and home goods.  Which means your turquoise-adorned wandering isn’t confined to the American southwest.  ;-)

This road-trip approved bracelet is made up of hand cut slices of stunningly shaded Arizona turquoise, and accented with tiny pure silver beads so it sits comfortably and moves easily as your wrist moves through the day.  But the finishing touch is a handmade sterling silver button adorned with a nugget of the same Arizona turquoise.  Soft, sturdy leather in a dark cognac brown offers loops to close securely and easily.  The photos show an extra loop for those of you who want some flexibility to stack, but can be removed prior to shipping if not needed, or cut off once you receive your bracelet.  Leave me a note if you’d like me to remove it for you.
